Cherish someone today!

Photobucket

I am so proud to be with a group of sisters like Glad Tidings, I could just listen to this music of ” Amazing Grace” all day long! It is just so… meaningful!

Our lives are meaningful even if we do not understand why we are here and what we are to do, but God guides us thru our path to show us the light. I need to ask him to let me spend more time on the things I love. I am so absorbed in my past mistakes. I wallow in them sometimes. Onward to the light, I shall go!

I thank thee Lord for watching my Mother through her past surgery and that she is healthy and wise. I have missed so many opportunities to learn from her. I traveled 1400 miles to be with her and I so cherish that I was able to. I stayed with her for over two weeks and asked her questions about her past and her parents also. Why did I not ask my grandmother? I barely knew her family and she had 9 brother and sisters. Today, my Mother keeps up with the family who is left and they are very old in age.

We should all cherish our families and our friends as when hard times come that is whom we rely on for daily spirituals, those who are the closest to us. I am reminded of a verse to remember that we are in God’s plan for us.

“ I am your creator. You were in my care even before you were born” Isaiah 44:2

much love, Cyndi

Cyndi! Thank you for posting today. It was so wonderful to hear from you! I'm still praying for you and for your Mom! Isn't it great that she could fill you in on some of your past history!
Don't worry about your past, Cyndi! God has forgotten it, buried it in the deep blue sea, and has a future and a hope for you as bright as the rising sun in the morning! You are right -- look forward, not back! Cora
