I thought all day as to what to post here. I wanted it to be meaningful, perhaps helping someone who may be down, hurting, or trying to find their way.
I just didn't realize that when I found it, it would minister to ME in such an overwhelming way! Hope it does the same for you! Before starting the video, please scroll down and turn off the music that is playing. You will find it towards the bottom on the right side!

Patti's Signs!
I'm taking the liberty to post today for Patti, as she has been so overwhelmed lately with the illness of her Mom and still trying to take care of her family and business at the same time.
In looking over her items for sale on Ebay, This one just stood out to me today as I thought about Patti and prayed for her. Please pray that God will calm her storms and give her the perfect peace that passes all understanding as she keeps her heart and mind on Christ Jesus!
You can see all of Patti's beautiful signs on Ebay. But be careful ---- you can't buy just one!!!! I'm sure you will want to cover your walls with them all!

Whimsical Grubby Bunnies are here!
Fresh out of the carrot patch, come these two darling little grubby bunny sisters. I put the finishing touches on them last night and I was so pleased with them that I just had to share them today.
Let me tell you a little bit about them. Each sweet muslin bunny is 12 inches long. They have been aged and really look like they have playing in the carrot patch. Each has button eyes and a hand-embroidered face. I just love their polkadot dresses with contrasting bow & bloomers. Each little bunny sister has a hand-painted muslin carrot with whimsical greens that matches her bow!
If someone doesn't snatch them up before the weekend, I'll be listing them on eBay on Saturday.
Blessings,
Lea

Etsy Banners!
Hi Everyone!
My children are home from school on vacation this week, so th house I tidied last week looks like a hurricaine just blew through, I'm out of snacks, and we are running out of field trips. And it's only Tuesday... LOL! But I wouldn't want it any other way. They are the joy of my life and all of the chaos and volume of play is well accompanied by a constant parade of hugs, kisses, and cuddles...
Of course, this is not the perfect environment for productivity, so although I have been busy with new designs, I haven't had much time for listing them!
I've made up a new selection of Etsy Banners with matching Avatars which will be available both in my new Etsy Shop and on my Website. They are all the Etsy regulation size and will be customized with your business name. The sets are $10.00.
Here are a couple of examples:

Prayer Request
Mornin' ya'll. As I sit here today and type away at this 'puter, my heart goes out to a special My Space friend who needs all our prayers so desperately. I'm asking all you prayer warriors to help me lift up Brenda aka "Barnspider". Bless her heart, she has gone through a series of trials lately and she's been in my constant prayers. In December, her daughter's boyfriend committed suicide. And on January 27 her daughter did as well. She was only 19. When I sit here, I almost feel guilty that my life is in the peaceful state it is right now. But I know now why God puts us through these things.....to help other people. When my daughter was dabbling in the same "things" that Brenda's daughter was, she took an overdose of pills, but thank God we got to her in time. But I remember the hurt and devestation I experienced back then. But to actually go through what Brenda's going through..........I just can't imagine right now.
So, I'm asking ya'll, please remember by friend in your prayers. She hasn't been on line lately, but I can certainly see why. If any of you are interested, I started a guest book on my My Space site for the prayers for Brenda. I thought that when she felt up to it, she would check it and see how many people God used to help carry her through this time. I'm not sure if you can sign it if you're not a member, but you can try if you feel led. You can reach this site by clicking on the My Space link on my blog.
I love each of you, and thank you for the prayers. And I know Brenda does too. We all have sooooooo much to be thankful for, even the trials, 'cause somewhere down the line we can help someone else. "This too shall pass".
Love all ya'll,
Vic

Something New From Country Patches!
I just love the way these primitive stitcheries turned out. I used some old, vintage dresser scarves, doilies, or quilt pieces and then stitched a saying on them in a child-like, primitive, easy back stitch. I always pictured a little girl sitting at her grandmother's knee learning to embroider this way. These stitcheries are available for sale in my ebay store, Country Patches.
I have other primitive stitcheries listed there for you to see. Don't miss your chance to get the one you want!

Why Women Cry
A little boy asked his mother, 'Why are you crying?' 'Because I'm a woman,' she told him.
'I don't understand,' he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, 'And you never will.'
Later the little boy asked his father, 'Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?'
'All women cry for no reason,' was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, 'God, why do women cry so easily?'
God said:
'When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,
yet gentle enough to give comfort
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue with out complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed.'
'You see my son,' said God, 'the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides.'

Cherish someone today!
I am so proud to be with a group of sisters like Glad Tidings, I could just listen to this music of ” Amazing Grace” all day long! It is just so… meaningful!
Our lives are meaningful even if we do not understand why we are here and what we are to do, but God guides us thru our path to show us the light. I need to ask him to let me spend more time on the things I love. I am so absorbed in my past mistakes. I wallow in them sometimes. Onward to the light, I shall go!
I thank thee Lord for watching my Mother through her past surgery and that she is healthy and wise. I have missed so many opportunities to learn from her. I traveled 1400 miles to be with her and I so cherish that I was able to. I stayed with her for over two weeks and asked her questions about her past and her parents also. Why did I not ask my grandmother? I barely knew her family and she had 9 brother and sisters. Today, my Mother keeps up with the family who is left and they are very old in age.
We should all cherish our families and our friends as when hard times come that is whom we rely on for daily spirituals, those who are the closest to us. I am reminded of a verse to remember that we are in God’s plan for us.
“ I am your creator. You were in my care even before you were born” Isaiah 44:2
much love, Cyndi

It Looks Bad
READ: Psalm 12
I will set him in the safety for which he yearns. —Psalm 12:5
King David looked out at the world and was troubled. He didn’t need the Internet to paint a bleak picture of society or The New York Times to remind him of crime and suffering. Even without a cable news show to give him all the bad news, he saw the evil.
He looked around and saw that “the godly man ceases.” He noticed that “the faithful disappear.” In his world, everyone spoke “idly” to his neighbor “with flattering lips and a double heart” (Ps. 12:1-2).
This description may sound like the theme of a TV show, but it was life, circa 1,000 BC. While we may view society’s evils as much worse than anything before, David reminds us that evil is not a 21st-century innovation.
But David’s words also give us hope. Notice his reaction to the bad news he bore. In verse 1, he turned to God and cried, “Help!” Then he implored God with specific needs. The response he got was positive. God promised that because He rules righteously, He would provide protection and safety (vv.5-7).
When you are discouraged by all the bad news, cry out for God’s help. Then bask in the confidence of His assurance. Three thousand years after David, God is still, and always will be, in control. —Dave Branon
When through life’s darkened maze I go,
And troubles overwhelm my soul,
Oh, grant me, Lord, the faith to know,
That You are always in control.
—D. De Haan
We have nothing to fear, because God is in control.

That devotional spoke VOLUMES to me this morning. I hope God can speak to you through it too. We just have to TRUST GOD and have FAITH in HIM. How about if I pray for you and you pray for me? Send me a comment so I'll know who to pray for.
God Bless,

Primitive Angel Tags!
I've always been fasinated and drawn to the idea of the old hang tags. I've even had them hanging on my Christmas Tree as ornaments. They remind me of "the olden days" when packages were wrapped in old brown paper, tied with a string, and the address was printed lovingly, in your best handwriting, on a manila tag.
Suitcases travelled with these tags on them, identifying the owner. Who would have throught that us primitive crafters would turn them into works of art????
Ever since I started making angels from old quilts and linens, I've included a tag to go with each one. Whether it be a Bible verse, a poem, or a short saying, it relayed a message to the recipient of the angel.
I've received so many requests for these tags to be sold separately. I've put just a little more work into them, "gussied them up" so to speak, and have started offering them for sale on ebay! You can see them in my ebay sales here:
