Introducing Myself

I am so happy to have been invited to join with all the lovely ladies at Glad Tidings! My name is Kay and I'm the soap lady from The Rustic Cottage. Cora and I became acquainted through the blogging community and I felt so privileged when she invited me to join the group.

I live in a small town in SW Washington State - truly God's country with all the lush green landscape. I am single, have two daughters, Missy is almost 38 and Stephany is 14. I also have two grandsons who are the loves of my life.

I was recently laid off my job as an office manager for a truck repair shop so now I'm a full-time soapmaker and business woman. It is a little scary being the sole support of your family and not having a full-time job. But we are depending on God every day and He is blessings in so many ways! He truly is providing. This has been a very humbling experience for me as I am a very independent person. I've had to ask for help in many ways I've never had to before.

I've been a seamstress all my life and about 3 years ago starting making soap. I've always got a project of some sort in the works.

Thank you for letting me share a little about myself with you. Please come back and visit Glad Tidings often. And visit the shops of the wonderful talented ladies in this group. I know you'll be able to find a treasure or two for yourself.

Click on my picture above and check out my blog!

Sending you a WELCOME BANNER Kay! It is delightful to have you join Glad Tidings Primative and Folkart! I know God has something in mind for you and will keep you in his blessings!

I left my heart in Washington State when we moved from there.
But, I can imagine good things for you! Blessings, Cyndi
