Hey ya'll. I've been told by family members that I've got a problem. I think I might have become addicted to making Rag Balls :) It's so therapeutic just sitting there rolling these things. And to make matters worse, everywhere I look, I can visualize people's shirts, dresses, sweaters and pj's for rag ball material!!!!!!!! Isn't that sick???? These things have actually been selling very well for me in my Ebay store. I've been scenting them with different prim scents like Mulling Spice, Cinnamon Bread and Apple Spice. Feedback has been good. The trouble is, I love 'em so much I kinda hate to list 'em.....I want to keep 'em for myself!! Selfish, huh? So anyway, I was just wondering if any of ya'll have had the same problem? And if there's any cure? Let me know if any of ya'll have addictions to your crafts. Is this a bad thing?
On a more serious note....hope all you ladies are doing good. We've had a bout of the flu go through the whole family....grandkids and all. Seems like we're "on the mend" now tho. Had bad storms go through here a couple of nights ago. No serious damage done, Praise God, just a lot of clean up.
Gotta go...........my rag balls are callin' my name :)
Love ya'll,
Vic

LOL..Yes I have an addiction to graphics and epatterns..especially when they are free or on sale...so I do understand. I have been in front of my computer for 2 days just listing items in my yard sale. I think I listed more than anyone...I have listed a total of 210 items :)
It sure will be nice to get a lot of bins empty and have a lot of things go to someone that might actually be able to use them.
Plus I have set the date for the cut off for recipes for the cook book I am publishing until Sunday night.
I love coming to your blog....
Nancy
What a wonderful sickness to have! LOL
It may not seem primitive to some but, I collect scrapbook paper and I love to save my favorites/as far as home items go, I collect:
wood handled kitchen tools
rolling pins
crocks
stoneware jugs(especially the dark brown)I also have old corn liquor jugs.
older flower vases
wood sculptures
antique frames
enamelware--the usable kind
chalk art
tins
medicine containers-even some old prescription containers. I have cardboard boxes that meds came in.
personal items-razors,perfumes,shaving mugs,etc.
Too many to list. I am a nut myself. I just love old stuff-hankies, hats, jewelry.....
The one thing I lack is display space. I'd love to be able to see everything...
I LOVE your rag balls, Vic! Mine never turn out round. They end up looking like eggs or something! Hope you are all feeling better again! Thanks for the post and the pictures!
